Chevrolet as a brand of vehicle produced by General Motors Company (GM), Chevrolet was founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant on November 3, 1911; however, the Chevrolet bow-tie emblem didn’t appear until 1914. Chevrolet was created to produce a lineup of cars to directly compete against Henry Ford’s Model T in the 1920s, with “Chevrolet” or “Chevy” being at times synonymous with GM.Read more:
